So what happens if you click on the question mark button in Windows Explorer? In my case I see a totally different page compared to starting help from the start menu?

Can you uninstall the HP help?

In Windows Explorer is working fine , the problem is the H&S button on the start menu , it opens like Brians ( no topic found , and no online options )

I already removed every thing from HP.

Hi - I was the original poster, found the folowing solution, then forgot to update this post (me bad).

The utilities that HP provides have changed. In particular HP Support Assistant replaces a number of older utilities (which I had tried to install). I found that by downloading it from the HP website and installing it, that my problem was resolved.

    Good luck to all -

    Brian , thanks

    Brian,
I did not want to use those HP UTILITIES (silly) , but i think it´s the only way. At least the page will not open incorrectly.

I had the same problem last summer, also with HP laptop. The culprit was HP's own Help-system. Only thing that worked was repair installation.
