Need to pay for over the internet computer repair

What is the best service to pay to have a look at my computer?

I had my ISP give me a new modem and router and now my computer has internet coming but will not connect. I think this is a simple fix but want to save time by hiring.

    Hi Ron,

your new router/modem connection will have
    a new SSID
    and password (label on side)

if you open Network connections(right click on wifi icon) select your new ISP name(SSID) then .. connect
it will then ask for a password

no just a MSC, HW and S/n number. There is no password support would have told me and other computers are working with the new router.

Thanks everyone, I took it over to Best Buy and they hooked up a USB Ethernet adapter and the network connected so it's a bad port. Yes, I said it was working before the new equipment but I must have been on wifi and did not see it or it broke with the new data stream coming in don't know.

Sadly the USB-A 3.0 is not as fast as the wifi so far.

Thank you I have now updated my specs.

With my two graphics cards on the motherboard I don't have any room for PCIe cards besides I was told at Best Buy that a hardwired ethernet would be faster but buying the USB-A Ethernet adapter did not get a faster speed then my wifi. Perhaps USB-C would have been faster adapter?

    What a nice hardware.
The graphics cards use the PCIe x16 and PCIe x8
The Z490 AORUS Ultra has PCIe x4 that can be used for a PCI network adapter.

With USB adapter you will never get a good connection, regardless of the USB connector.

You can use a access point and connect to the computer by cable

I think that PCIe x4 is covered up with the graphics card see in picture. I also have an M2 drive in the upper slot.

I talked to a new tech support from Spectrum and she suggested I check the network reset since I am switching routers. She was right it changed from my network name to just "network". I knew it was the change of router brand. I now have full 500 mb download.
