[Beginning]

Here is my newest WEI with my new build.

Holy crap!!!! Almost my identical rig, Thats how much that SSD makes a differance? I so want to get one... I talked to my computer parts supplier and he discouraged me from buying one, he said they are too new yet and thier lifespan isn't that long. He told me to hold off on buying one just yet.... Hmmmm... Why would he do that? any ideas people?

Time to find a different computer supplier. The current market SSD is a Gen II product already, and have been around for quite some time now. If "too new" for your guy is technology that is now 35 years old, he needs to get on the ball.

I didn't need a really fancy graphics card since I don't do gaming. It is an overclocked i7 processor. The SSD is really fast.

Sometimes I think I can definitely relate to that.... My WEI hasn't changed since this shot I posted back in July:

However, even having said that... I got Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 the other day, and although I haven't tried it on max detail, it runs on medium at 1440x900 very nicely. So maybe I shouldn't kick it too hard... Lol.

By January I should be able to get my Phenom II x3 and 4GB PC8500 RAM kit though, so hopefully soon it'll be that little bit faster..

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for... The x3 will definitely be a 720BE (2.8GHz tri-core), which should allow me to take full advantage of the 4GB Corsair Dominator DDR-1066 kit that I'll order along with it. I've got a lot of respect for Corsair RAM, used them for years and I've never been disappointed... I'd like to include a 2TB drive in there as well, but December must hurry up now, I need my Christmas bonus to be able to afford this 'little' upgrade. Lol.
