I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I was running 7 ultimate before with no problems. I put it on my other computer and bought a brand new copy of pro for this computer.

I did a clean install.

I have installed 7 at least 10 times. (I have 6 computers between work and home)
I have never had it be such a PITA. I installed 7 and it would restart then boot correctly the first time but after I restarted it it would boot and then go to a black screen. I searched Google and found that other people had this problem and suggested to disconnect my other monitor and reinstall 7 with only 1 monitor hooked up.

This worked for me and I dont have that problem now but now I get a BSOD quite often.

I have updated my video card, chipset, and RAID drivers and nothing helps.

I used a program called Whocrashed and this is what it says.

Conclusion
4 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is really responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

Should I try to reinstall and see if the BSOD's go away? I have been dealing with this for 3 days now. I ran the Windows memory check and no problems were found.

Thanks so much

Well just from the bug checks I can see 2 problems. Can you upload the DMP files here for those who dont have the ability to use live.com?

The 2 problems I see are a memory exception, and a video card reset failure.

Let us know if you need help
