Solved The Case of the Missing Pillow Case

I had torn the beds apart again thinking that surely it had to be stuck to a sheet or something, but it has yet to turn up. The thing just vanished without a trace somehow. :huh:

Not to put a damper on your hope, but about a month ago, the missing pillow case problem occurred in our house and it has not been found yet. This particular set of sheets and pillow cases were burgundy. Everytime we use those sheets now, I get a white pillow case and my lovely lady gets the burgundy one. I asked her how did she know that she lost MY pillow case. She said that she had her name written on it. Personally, I think the name probably appeared AFTER she lost one of the pillow cases.

Have you checked your suitcase from junior high school ( the hidden pocket behind the back wall ):tip: or the closet from your 1st apartment that you shared with that strange girl----ahhhh that's where it is. She took it back for all the times you pulled the covers from her

Do not despair Brink. This weekend, after about two months, the pillow case was found. It was behind the dryer.

Well, today after washing all of the sheets and pillow cases again, after several times since the start of this, the missing pillow case has just as mysteriously reappeared as it had disappeared.

I've been checking the sheets and pillow cases as I strip the beds just in case the missing pillow case may have stuck to one of them and I had just missed it. However, it was definitely not placed in the wash today, but it did come out of the dryer all nice and fresh from whatever vortex it had gone to before. I have no idea where it came from.

Single Sock

It was the same place where the single socks go. Sometimes they can make it back into the world but lots of times they are gone forever. You had a stroke of luck. Ask the pillow case if it saw any other misplaced items.
