Hi i have sony EB14 laptop with 320 gb hdd and 2 gb ram i3 processor windows 7 home basic . Some times when i ON it it shows windows is preparing your desktop and opens in safe mode with some vb script error showing some path in c drive

This is a clear sign of malware infection, run the scan mentioned above

Go to Start>All programs>Startup and remove any suspicious startup programs from the list
