Hello,

I have a very strange issue, which I cant explain my self and in desperate search for help.

My PC BSODs once a week but 2 times in a row, so for example last night it went BSOD around 6pm-7pm then I came home around 9:30pm rebooted (attached is the BSOD picture) went to sleep, the PC BSOD again at around 1am. This is usually what happens, it does this 2 times in a row and then its good for about a week. I`m on the system now and its fine.

Few notes, I have added RAM to make it 8GB from 6GB (before was 2 different manufacturer 2x2GB and 2x1GB) now they all match, I used to have Intel SSD gen2 80GB, I swapped for Vertex 2 90GB (cloned the drive). The crashes used to be less frequent before those 2 changes and now are about twice a week. Oh I thought it might be a video card so I swapped ATI HD 3450 for a GeForce 310. I did up the voltage on the RAM to 1.9v.

Whats really interesting that the crash would not happen for a week, so every time I did troubleshooting, I would think that the issue is fixed since its working for this long. I dont see how it could be hardware if it does not happen all the time. Also the PC is attached to a UPS, UPS is not reporting any errors.

Now I had disabled paging file before so thats why there is no dumps from earlier.

Code:
· OS - Windows 7 Ultimate
· x64
· Windows 7
· full retail version
· about a year
· Original Install
· Intel Q9550
· Nvidia GeForce 310
· Asus P5Q Turbo
· Power Supply - Linkworld LPG8-43-P4-IO 630W ATX12V Power Supply
I`m really confused on what this might be, I`m suspecting RAM, but I ran memtest and it was clean, also I thinking the NEW SSD ?

Just to add, this usually happens when I`m not on the PC. Most of the time this computer is being used via RDP.

Please help, I`m really stuck with this one.

This means that the webcam is obsolete hardware as far as Win 7 is concerned. The manufacturer choose not to update for Win 7. I suggest you uninstall it via Device manager and upgrade to a new camera certified compatible with win 7.

The same goes for the TV Tuner; it is designed for XP and is obsolete. Uninstall it and upgrade.

WOW thats not a good solution.

The drivers are picked up by Win7 so I would assume it is supported by Win7 and the devices seem to function property and as expected with the drivers. So how is it that win7 doesnt support them?

Its the manufacturer the culprit for not providing Windows7 certified drivers, Windows 7 automatically loads the generic drivers but these might be old and outdated
