Minefield Nightly build crashes

Is anyone having issues with today's Minefield release? I am getting all kinds of delays when surfing. I installed SP1 for Windows 7 64 bit today, so I am trying to determine if it is Minefield, SP1 or the two of them together.

Thanks

Not here. SP1 did not impact Minefield nightly's.

Just in case, have you tried Safe Mode and/or with addons disabled in case one of them has problems/conflict with SP1? Just a suggestion.

I think I found my problem. I tried some ipconfig commands and thought I had it, but it did not work. What the culprit turned out to be was the firewall I am using, PC Tools Firewall Plus 7. I shut it off and all my internet speed problems went away. I am going to try removing and re-installing and if that doesn't help wait for an upgrade that is compatible with SP1.

Well I don't run a firewall, but I wouldn't be surprised if windows firewall could be causing issues.

Why is that? Generally, Windows Firewall doesn't cause issues of this sort.

Commodore Pet traced his issue to a PC Tools Firewall, not the Windows Firewall.

Please, windstrings, could you expound?

I don't think there is any relation to windows firewall.... I've never had an issue with it either.

My problem was fixed with a simple modem reset!... had nothing to do with my computer.
