Hello there everyone
smile.gif
First off, my name is Gab and I just joined these forums ^^ I just got a quick question on how to get connected to the web using windows 7 which I just installed. Naturally, my motherboard wifi drivers didn't work to install as they aren't ment for w7 so I found someone with similiar problems on these forums. The solution to his problems was to set the installer in compatability mode for vista so I tried doing the same and it worked! Unfortunately however I still can't connect to any wireless network :/ Upon reboot it said something like drivers failed to install.

Incase it matters, I'm using a self-built stationary computer with a wireless card in it and my only possibility is to connect with it wirelessly. I'd be ever so greatfull if somebody could shed some light on my issue and help me get my internet going again :/ Btw, The mb I'm using is an asus m2n-32 SLI deluxe incase there might be some general incompatibility with that brand or model. Thanks

Thanks beforehand, Gabe.

Hi, nevereon, and welcome to the forums.

Have you tried getting the latest drivers (for Vista) from ASUS and installing those in compatibility mode for Windows Vista?

Hi nevereon and welcome, which wireless card do you have, and which router do you use?

Thanks :p I'm not sure I think it's a nforce 570 or something around that. It's built into my m2n 32 sli deluxe mb and I've grabbed the newest vista 32bit drivers from asus site. The router is a "mac airport".
