If you go to that address, select the middle "download" tab and look at the bottom of the list, the manual is there for you to download (just select the appropriate language on the next page and selct for "global" download". On page 2.11 it gives the info on the various memory configs you can use. They recommend the yellow slots for better overclocking capability.
I wouldn't buy any new sticks if the ones you have are passing memtest. Try putting the sticks in the yellow sockets and testing again. By the way...both the memory sticks you have are exactly the same model number aren't they?
In that case it may be better to buy 2 new sticks of memory but make sure they are both the same model number and can be used in your motherboard( The manual will give a list of memory sticks that they have tested the board with, so it would be best to use one of those)
Wait, you said that Windows is reporting hardware problems as related to your memory. That's going to cause a lot of problems. Fix that first and then we can address whatever problems remain, if any.
Your system specs say 4GB of memory in your system. Which is true?
See if you can maybe borrow some RAM from a friend first to make sure it's the RAM. It's quite likely the RAM but there's also a chance it's the motherboard itself, bad DIMM slots etc. Don't want to buy new RAM just to find out it's the entire board you know.
No, normally you should have 0 errors from your memory after multiple passes.
They can be just failing, not entirely destroyed. Very rare, only seen it happen twice, and both times the boards had other issues as well. But the RAM is indeed almost positively the sure culprit here. Now then, have you tried both sticks in the Slot or just the one that "works", so to speak? Or does the machine not even POST with just the other stick in there?
