I got this from Futuremark today.

I’m happy to tell you that we are now inviting PC gamers to sign up for
a private beta test to take place later this summer. We’ve also released
two new screenshots – the first new media since Shattered Horizon was
announced at Leipzig last year.

Shattered Horizon is an FPS played entirely in zero gravity. It offers
gameplay possibilities that simply cannot be found in conventional
shooters so if you're looking for an FPS with something new and

Thanks for the info, looks very intriguing... I've just signed up for it now.

I was half expecting it to say my system ain't good enough after it tested my system because the new Futuremark benchmark apps wont run on my PC due to my ancient monitor! My fingers are crossed.

i tried and failed. i neglected the fact of their analysis requiring a dual core CPU, and direct x 10. i was using XP at the time, and that dumb 'test' froze my computer. just a minor overlook on my part. tehe

i've got all the valve games and would like to play l4d with some other forum members, preferably uk based. i haven't played tf2 much yet, but would like to learn - i downloaded the 'manual', but it's useless. i come from a bf2 background and so i have 1000s of hours of squad-based experience, i'm a team player!

Does Steam even install on x64? When I got he email I saw the steam account field and closed the page...didn't have time to go figure it out....
