Twitty,
Try putting a music CD or you tube and see if your speakers are malfunctioning.

It happens when just browsing or really doing anything i think because i exited out of chrome completely, played some music and it was fine. when i clciked chrome it just totally crackled up and came to a point where i had to turn it off..

it also happens if i do something else i think because it happens a little bit if i just drag the corners of itunes to make it bigger :/

edit: just not as bad. maybe just a little bit of pop

Sounds like your sound driver is not doing so well, failing any time there is any significant load on your system. Might try figuring out what sound device you have and downloading the official driver from the manufactuerers website...

How about trying another browser, Firefox, Opera, or whatever to see if it happens there?
How are you hooked up to the internet? Maybe a bad cable or connection problem. IMHO

I tried Opera. The same thing happens but its less extreme. At some points its actually perfect. but if i go to a link or new tab it happens. it could just be because chrome is taking a lot more memory? idk

It may be a Wireless Connection problem - Some Speakers pick up interference between Wireless connections - Does this happen whenever you use your Wi-Fi?

Have you tried surfing with an Ethernet Cable plugged in? If so do you recieve the Same issue?

Edit: I notrious interference is with Mobile Phones and older speakers producing beeping sounds

Many Thanks,
Josh

Well the drivers are probably just the basic built in W7 drivers.

You need to find out what kind of audio chip you have. From the user manual or looking up your computer model on line and looking at the specs etc. Then once you have the manufacturer and model number you can go to the manufacturers website and look for the REAL driver.

Do you have a built in WIFI or a USB WIFI connector?
If USB try another location on the laptop.
