Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling WoC? if not try that.

Otherwise,

Make a Battle.net account here

Add both Games to your account so you can download them, download Frozen Throne from battle.net and install that instead of using the disks.

See how you go.

Solution!

dude i had the same problem. search in the forums for InstallTakeOwnerShip.reg file and merge after downloadling. then open my computer, got to warcraft 3 folder in local disk and right click, you should see "Take Ownership" option. Click it and battlenet should be all good.
