Hrm, probably not going to get much lower than that, at least for a long time.

Yeah, I am contemplating buying it. I probably will, but it's irritating that it is box only, you cannot buy it online for that price.

Well I just walked into Gamestop and picked it up for $31.49 (29.99+1.50 tax)

I know I said I wasn't getting it but I think 30 bucks is a fair price for a new game like this

Wonder how those that paid fifty for it less than a month ago feel? Also wondering if Valve will comp them?

I just started playing last night so I'm just getting into it but from what little I've played it seems ok. I will say I'm a little disappointed in the graphics though I do realize the games engine is getting a little old, no performance issue though.

Yea, I would like to have seen much better graphics .. but the gameplay is a lot of fun so far.

Well I just finished off Portal 2. A bit confused about the end though.

Anyway while the puzzles got more elaborate as the levels progressed I did think they were a little easy to solve, though I did have YouTube one area: Chapter 6 - The Fall, where you first hear Cave Johnson's voice.

Outside that little confusion, the rest of the seemed easy to me, even the ending wasn't too taxing. With that I'd have to say Portal 1 is the harder game.

I Still don't think it was worth 50 bucks though I will say you do get a fair bit of content. Definitely worth the 30 bucks I paid though.

My copy arrived in the mail today, and I am going to pick it up in a few minutes. Shame that I have a coding project due at midnight that I have not yet finished, so I won't get to play it until tomorrow.

I enjoyed it alot.
But, I must say I do agree with you. Overall its a very good game I think but it did have some disappointments.
Mainly, just too easy overall. And yea, I was a bit disappointed in how easy the end was.


I too got stumped in the same area, and bit past it .. but eventually worked it out. This seemed to be the most difficult area of the game.



I also agree its worth the $30. But sadly, its not a $50 Game.

I really liked the game and some of the puzzle designs were cool.

I do have to say the graphics looked dated as the Source Engine is starting to show it's age. To me the game looked no better than Portal 1 or any other Half-Life game. It really is time for a new game engine.

Anyways it was/is a fun game to pass some time on, and I do recommend the game - This coming from someone who said they weren't going to get the game because I'm pissed at Valve for their lack of any hint on Half-Life 3 release.

At any rate for 30 bucks the game is a must, especially if you played Portal 1.

The parts where your splashing the gel are crazy fun. The gel thing made the puzzles.
