KB2454826 causes freezing ,BSOD

Hello ,my first post here
I have been fitting with this win update for quite some time ( KB2454826)
it started in Feb ,every time i install this update i will get freezes or BSOD while playing games ,i uninstall it few times but every time i get rid of it some of my utility's/benches (gadgets,Unigine Heaven are blank or missing something) don't look right ,i try KB2454826 V2 with no avail,if anyone can help me it would be great ..don't know who to ask any more

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.



To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

I'm not sure if this will help ..the last modified file is date it like 3/21..i had the freeze today tho,any way i did enabled minidumps as prescribed for future ref.

The most recent dmp (and crash) was fro March 21, 2011. What ever was wrong with the machine will have changed by now. Are you getting BSOD's or just freezes?

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

application hang 1002 (101)
application error 1000
MSI installer 1013

side by side 80~
.Net runtime 1026~this two are from January (don't think it meters)

all tho i did experience another hang yesterday ..it doesn't show up in event viewer ,is that because i Ctrl+Alt+Del ?

I did uninstall it few times ,the lest time i got it when IE9 was reinstalled(it came with it)
I would be happy without this update but every time i uninstall some of my apps are all messed up;

What I would do is

1-create a restore point

2-un-install update

3-do a repair install to fix

check results.


I would hide that update for all time.
