Due to the monitor bases and the fact that my blotter is two layers of leather lined with steel, that's as close as they get. It also doesn't help that one is a 20 inch widescreen and the other is a standard 17 inch

Hehe,at least you have a 2 screen setup, I am still drooling and wanting it, someday I will post some new pics with 3 screens:D, or hopefully at least 2.

Oh, and the speaker setup rocks.

And after seeing the fancy cable management from "setan berdasi"(Nice job mate) I am going to spend some hard hours in my case now.

OK - This is not my system! it belongs to setan berdasi - Show Us Your Rig [2]

I'm saying this because I've had two posts directed towards me about it. It's a great looking system, it's just not mines and it wouldn't be fair for me to take the credit :)

Again, setan berdasi

Thanks

I prefer cable ties as well since they come in all sizes, are unobtrusive, can be found in many colors and thus able to blend in, and they fit anywhere - this makes them perfect for cable management.

And since they're inside your case, I can't imagine them needing to be removed often, but.....

You can also get cable ties that can be removed, they have a "clip lock and unlock" feature, so when and if you need to change psu's or add a second gpu or so on you can remove them AND re-use,so you never need new ones.Unfortunately the only ones I saw so far were to big and bright yellow.

Fair enough. While my velcro only comes in 1 color (black), I simply cut it to size. You can make it skinny if you want, or leave it wide. If you have 2 short pieces, you can stick them to each other to make a long piece.

And since they're inside your case, I can't imagine them needing to be removed often, but.....
They aren't removed often. But occasionally I need another power cable, and have to pull one out of a loop behind the hard drive rack. And I've had to swap out a failed power supply before. And I've removed a mobo to install a heat/sink cooler which required undoing some cables.

I just threw the velcro out there as an option. As a previous zip tie user, I'd never go back after using Velcro.

It's always good to be aware of other options :)

Anyway I'm the opposite as I don't think velcro gives the look I'm looking for in a wire management job. That's me though.

For others, your solution is another option ;)
