I forgot to mention, the test never ends.. It keeps on running for ever. I had it running constantly for 2 days continously, never ended. My computer is under 1 year old. Does this tell u anything more?

Yes it does. A year old its under warranty. Dont touch or change anything, you will void the warranty. Call your vendor and get a replacment.

There can be other things wrong, too, but you DO have a memory problem. Follow the link that I gave you to determine if its the MB or the sticks. If sticks its just a small inconvenince if MB (slots) its a serious problem. Its up to you to end the test, it will run until you stop it. Normal test is 8 passes.

Well, im thinking, i have 2 ram sticks, one of those probably works, so ill remove one, if it doesnt work, ill try removing the other and putting the one already removed in again. One of those should probably work? Should i try this?

Yes that is good. If you find one that is definately good, use it to test the slots for 8 passes each. You are doing good, just take your time and read the article from my link.

It would help to know what kind of memory you have (as well as system specs). If you're running performance memory for example, memtest will error if the memory is running below specs.

Example - Say you have Corsair's Dominator modules which runs at 1600MHz at 1.65 volts, well most (almost all) motherboards will only set the memory at a base setting of 1066MHz @1.5 volts - well if you memtest those modules at that setting memtest is going to error!

Not saying you don't have problems with the memory but to rule that issue out, we need to know what kind of memory you're using, along with your system specs.

My two cents.
