I just purchased and installed a Logitech Clearchat Wireless Headset and have found that Windows only supports one default audio device so if I want to use my desktop speakers instead of the headset I have to change the default audio device.
Previously I could just switch the speakers off or on as required.
In addition I would like the option to use two headsets (for conference calls, not because I have two heads

:geek:), but of course the headset jacks are part of the on board audio so they are also disabled.
Any ideas?

I see whats going on here... I have a USB Sound Card, and windows defaults to it.

Certain programs (such as Skype, WinAmp) have options to play directly to a certain sound source and/or pick up audio from a specific sound source.

In my case, My default output is my Digital Out Surround Sound, and Skype is using my Headphone set for the skype calls. I can hear my friend, my friend can hear me, and we both can hear my music.

As for conference calling, two headsets? What sort of conference call requires 2 headsets?

Two people, each with a headset connected to same PC

erm... What you could do, if one of you is using Skype, is one headset as the Default communications device (right click the mic, set default communications device), same with the headphones,, set the other headset to the default device and tell skype to use the one thats not set as the communications device...

personally, it'd be better if you had a laptop to hand..
