Remote Desktop doesn't work after upgrade to SP1

Hi,

After I upgraded my windows ultimate to SP1 my rdp stopped working.
My remote settings now look like this:

I can't find any reason why this would have happened.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to solve this, without reinstalling windows/sp1?

sadly no, are you using the Ultimate E version too?

E == European version. Though... I thought that whole line was pulled before release of 7. Maybe not?

Yeah I'm now using logmein, but all the replacement software can't match up to windows RDP...

hey before you run through that i am curious maybe can you check for the presence of termsrv.dll in your c:\windows\system32 folder?

it's there, tried patching it already, didn't work

SP1 definately doesn't 'break' RDP across the board... It's working just fine on my SP1 7 pro machines at home and in the office.

I have four PC in my office:

• 2 with Ultimate 64 (Europe) and after Sp1 Remote Destop goes well as client and even as host
• 2 with Professional N 64 (Europe) and after Sp1 Remote Destop goes well as client but NOT as host, and in Remote tab Desktop Remote disappeared, as You can see from SS

Please don't tell me about TeamViewer I just want my RD

I just removed SP1 update, rebooted and all is well.

Remote desktop function has been restored.

Service Pack 1 is the problem.

With me happened the same thing. Remote Desktop back to normal after the remotion of SP1.
