I'm experiencing the BSOD on my Compaq Presario CQ61-401SA Notebook PC. I've followed the posting instructions and would be extremely grateful for any help

Several of these were blamed on ataport.sys. Some very old drivers need updating including your raid, storage, and others.

I would update the old drivers

Then I would run the SP-1 update readiness tool and update to SP-1

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

Hi again,
iirsp.sys is apparently Intel/ICP Raid Storport Driver which I cannot find anywhere on Intel's own site. What do you recommend?
