Hello all, This is going to be a long one but Im going to try to provide as much info as I can. First off I have some basic computer know how but most of it is outdated now, lol. I built my last pc about 5-6 years ago and still runs perfectly fine just slow and out of date. So I decided to upgrade and just go buy one from Best Buy (on 6-13-11) ...(Im starting to regret that decision)So I bought a Asus Essentio CM1630-06 mainly for FL studio and web and other misc stuff but not really gaming.... that was untill I heard of Rift. So I went back to best buy and talked to the same salesman who sold me the essentio and told him I wanted to upgrade the vid card and he directed me to the Radeon hd6770 and Corsair gs600 power supply. Went home and installed it and it ran perfectly for 3 weeks then BOOM...BSOD... my heart sank!! In the last couple of weeks I have tried everything I could think of, googled and researched, called best buy, called asus and now it seems I am stuck with almost $1000 of junk..... :( If anyone could help me I would GREATLY appreciate it... I have attached bump files below.

Hello Erikk, welcome to SF!

That's a load of dumps... many different reasons. Mostly related to memory and/or drivers.

As nothing stands out as far as drivers go... lets test RAM first:
Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Ok, I will get to that right away. I did do a mem test I think threw win 7 but Ill try this on and report back.... TY

Also, I know I didnt provide much info as far as what I have done to troubleshoot/fix problem because I tried so many things its probably just better to ask "did you try this" lol..... I have,

upgraded by bios to newest
tried 3 different vid card drivers (suggested older one,one that was on disk it came with and latest from official website)
system recovery
all important windows updates

other usefull (i think?) info:

BSOD during gaming,on web and just at desktop
no overclocking
cpu temp 20-30 C, vid card 60-80 C
no conflicts in device manager
ran a system health report (no problems)

Thx. Please upload as requested though. There are a bunch of files in there, other than just a dump that help us identify the problem faster.

Your system is in a Windows Update loop... Reset and make sure please...
You also have some problems with Windows Update
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.
For help or reset see: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/91738-windows-update-reset.html

*EDIT*
Ok thank you, I have done the suggested update reset as mentioned. I have re-ran windows updater and installed all updates and now have no new updates.

Was this my solution to the BSOD or just a recommended place to start?

Thank you very much, Erik

I hope it was the solution since your logs showed that the system was looping/constantly trying to do WU's.
Test for a couple of days. If you do get new crashes, please upload ALL info again. Logs and dumpfiles will be updated...

Normally, the large amount of different codes in you many dumps would point to memory problems. But since Memtest86 did ok... must be something else.

A long shot: Go to your Devices screen and Disable your smartcardreader disks (SD, SM/xD etc)
Reboot and test.

I have these in my device manager and disabled all of them.....

Generic-Compact Flash USB Device
Generic-MS/MS-Pro USB Device
Generic- SD/MMC USB Device
Generic-SM/xD Picture USB Device

I also have ST31000528AS ATA Device but left it alone.

I have got 2 BSOD since I disabled them.... I will attach files on next post.

Hmm, I booted in safe mode to run NT6_BSOD and in the middle of running it my computer is locked/not responding... I guess I will try again.

Well after my last post yesterday I got fed up and removed the power supply and video card...did nothing else except that. It has been running fine now for almost 24 hours?!?! My first thought is something is wrong with either the ps or vc, but Im going to run it like this for a while and see what happens....I dont think best buy is going to let me return these items so Im hoping maybe I did something wrong or overlooked something on the install. Any sugestions at this point would be great.

i kinda had the same issue as you... but found out it was my ram .. and yes i did memtest all sorts of ram test all came back as ok... after a few weeks of headaches i just went ahead bought new ram and no issues at all.. so sometimes ram can be bad and still pass all tests... just a idea to think about if it keeps up...

Hi Erikk,

I'm just curious as to how you managed to keep your computer running without the power supply?
