Solved How to enlarge images without loosing quality?

I have 5 images there size less than1800x1600. I want to make them 1800x1600 so how do i do it? Are there any good online service or downloadable software for that?

You can't enlarge images from their original sizes without losing quality. No software can do that.

I see them do it on CSI all the time.
One time they were able to use an image from a cell phone camera and zoom in on the picture to see a reflection of a license plate on someones sunglasses and it was super clear zoomed in about 10,000%.

^ lol. try faststone image resizer, it also depends on the quality and type of image you are trying to enlarge as to how it comes out.
enlarging a photo that has been scanned will not produce a decent result, but a digital image that you enlarge should be fine.(depending on the quality of the file.)

ImageEnlarger http://sourceforge.net/projects/imageenlarger/ which is a SourceForge project. The member who originally suggested this app said he's taken an 800 x 600 image and increased the width to 1280 with amazing results. You have to play around with the Sharpness, PreSharpen, and DeNoise controls a bit.

Photoshop Elements (poor man's CS5 - ie me) using good interpolation. Gimp for even poorer men may be ok?

Obviously nothing will create information but it's all about viewing distance and human perception of the image.

You must solve this problem long before it becomes a problem. You do that by purchasing a much better camera; one that requires Government funding (like on CSI).

In the meantime, until you can afford that camera, take all your photos at the highest resolution setting your camera offers. You can resize downward without losing quality. It simply does not work the other way around.
