Diggnation to end in December

all I can say is
I watch an awful lot of American TV (Chuck, Castle, Psych, Burn Notice, 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory etc etc.), but my life seems a lot emptier with the prospect of no more Diggnation after December

I have downloaded the diggnation episodes for a long time to my eye phone and eye pad as I think that those guys are great. I used to log onto digg but haven't for a long time as they changed all the screens to not be logical.

I do have lots of them on my eyepad..

Yeah, I too been downloading the episodes for ages (their web player is rather pathetic ) and filled up many a gigabyte on my HDD
I still can't think of a substitute for Diggnation once it's gone :/ When it was certainly here, I subconciously assumed there was something to fall back on, but there isn't
I agree with you on Digg. Originally, it was basic and intuitive. Then they 'modernised', went backwards, changed it, removed features, restored features, broke half the site... I don't get why a company would try to alienate their earlier members and confuse the newcomers

What exactly is diggnation? Is it related to the TV shows (Psyche, Burn Notice <-I know these two) mentioned?

well, Diggnation is American, and yeah, kind of TV. It's (soon to be 'was' ) a weekly internet TV show where Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht sit on a sofa (typically drinking beer or another alcoholic beverage) discussing some of their favourite stories of the week that have been on digg.com (a 'social news site' that Kevin created, where users 'digg' (vote) on news stories submitted by other users). Episodes usually run for around 40 minutes and contain a lot of humorous chat between the discussion of the stories.

At least Psych and Burn Notice won't be ending soon (both running until at least season 6)

I look forward to watching it every Tuesday night!

Hopefully i can get to one of the live shows before they call it quits.

(also, thanks for showing how much space it would take up. I've always wondered, as I've been thinking of replacing the 'large' episodes I have from quite a while back with HD ones to match the newer ones I have already in HD (bandwidth and space used to be a problem ))
