The end of Flash games

I thought there was something wrong with my computer. Just found out Flash was discontinued 10/8, which I knew was coming. So what happens to the puzzle games I've been playing in my browser? Do the authors have to reprogram them or can I play them in a different plug-in?

I don't think flash is being discontinued til the end of 2020. Someone lied to ya.

All my Flash games have a big blank area where the game should be.

I tried making VLC the default program for Flash, but it didn't work.

I never thought you could play games in VLC. Sure it will play an *.flv flash video. Making VLC the default for all flash content I think was a mistake.

VLC plays avi and flv files and there used to be a VLC plugin for playing those formats online, so it was a good guess. I just changed it back.
