Might get beaten to it, but just find the "snipper tool" from the start menu, highlight the area you want and then save it to your pics.

Then just add attachment in the reply, navigate to the pic you saved, hit upload then post it.

Open CMD as Admin.
Then type winsat mem. http://www.sevenforums.com/performance-maintenance/5400-whats-your-memory-assessment-speed.html

That is what WEI uses for memory score.
Don't ask me how it converts that score to WEI memory score.

This is link to winsat formal.> http://www.sevenforums.com/performance-maintenance/160700-show-us-your-winsat-formal.html
This is the basis for all the WEI scores. Each assesment rating is converted to a two digit rating in the WEI scoring.

Well, my replacement graphics card did indeed lower my score...however, it was free and it works better than the dead card. I am curious as to how a card with 512MB RAM scores worse than one with 256MB though.....is it slower memory?
My 8600GT scored 6.4 in both categories. I know it was slightly overclocked, and this card is not, but it still seems like quite a drop. It seems perhaps more drastic than it really is, because it dropped my overall score down from 5.9 to 4.9. But the rest of the computer still zings along like it always has.

I don't want to sound like a whiner....it cost me nothing and it still is capable of doing everything I normally do, I think. So I am happy to have my desktop back, as it is far more powerful than my little netbook (which filled in admirably while the desktop was down).

Well, we expected that. It is more than just memory (although there is certainly ddr, ddr2, ddr5), it is shaders, etc. The hierarchy chart did say it would be a few rungs down the ladder. But if it does what you need, that is what's important. A Guy

Quite right. I'm noticing the little things right now, like how much faster web pages load in, how nice it is to have more USB ports than I actually need, as opposed to trying to shuffle things around in the three ports my netbook has,, how much I missed the dual monitors, etc. So I'm a happy camper.:geek:

so so true. With my awful old 2005 laptop I had my monitor connected to the left of it with both at the same level for multi-monitors. With my new desktop though, I can only use the monitor, which isn't a particularly good one and is definitely no fun alone :( Can't wait until I buy a new monitor, of course now as it'll be a new monitor, I can get two identical ones for perfect multi monitors :D :p

Also:
- 13" Apple MacBook Air, 2013, i7 @ 1.7GHz, 8GB DDR3, 256GB SSD
- HP Deskjet 3050A
- Two HP ZV5000 laptops (the better of the two recently broke)
- A Compaq Evo D310 (has 2GB RAM and a 2.53GHz P4 but is curiously extremely slow)
- A desk fan - this weather is warm ;)
- A fair few retro consoles
- Too many cables behind the desk, probably a fire hazard.
Intel Core i5 2500 @ 3.3 GHz
16GB GeIL DDR3-1333 CL7-7-7-24
ATI Radeon HD4870X2
OCZ RevoDrive X2 240GB

Some minor overclocking of the GFX card would balance it out nicely, but I'm not comfortable with that without changing the GFX card's cooling. It tends to run quite hot by default
