Solved Computer not booting, startup repair won't work

Hang on, how can I skip startup repair and just go straight to system restore? I'm tired of waiting :/
It's really annoying when ithas you waiting and it can't fix the prob's anyway.

If you boot from the repair disc or installation DVD, you can pull up a System Restore without doing a startup repair.

@Jonathan_King I changed a setting on boot so the system doesn't restart after a blue screen, and this is what the BSOD saidROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED. Is that an error in the C: Windows folder? I'm running chkdsk now to see if it repairs the problems. Luckily it was even able to scan because it started right before the BSOD usually happens, so thankfully that BSOD hasn't interrupted the chkdsk scan.

@Golden I'm pretty much dead now. I rebooted an it's still got the BSOD. Why did this have to happen?? I tried the recovery partition, but there are NONE. What am I supposed to do? Download a Windows 7 ISO and use my key underneath my laptop on it? There's nothing I can do. I'm a FAIL. Stupid whatever it wasthat caused all this!

That Recovery partition likely doesn't contain all of the files for Recovery (it's too small) but links to them on C, which link may have been broken if there has been a clean reinstall or major repair.

You can try marking it Active, reboot to try key again. Marking Active is what the key itself does in most cases with a Recov partition. Partition - Mark as Active (Method Two)

Are you using a crack or loader on Win7 as it may have messed up your boot?

If you have a valid license then you may need to find a Win7 installation DVD, follow these steps for Reinstalling Windows 7.

I haven't used a crack or anything like that, as this only started recently. I'm pretty sure all this started happening on the 13th, and the only thing I can remember doing was installing a game on the 11th. But I'll try and see if I can mark that 'recovery' partition as active and see if it works. I don't think it was that game, because I've installed it before without any boot problems after. Oh yeah, I do have a valid license key, it's just, something went wrong. I can see the key cleary underneath my laptop. And one more thing, The TOSHIBA box that my comp came in could have some things I didn't see in there. I'll have a look.

I used the program in the thread you suggested an the recovery partition is there! Toshiba us .wim files for recovery, so I explored the recovery partition and it's there! I just need to know how to boot from it! It's like it's disabled or something.

You need to the Win7 DVD or Repair CD to mark the REcovery partition Active: Partition - Mark as Active (Method Two)

Shut down and try holding the zero on the keyboard while you power up the computer to see if it boots into Recovery. Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility

If it fails to run you can try mounting the .wim file to run it (which is complicated), order your Toshiba Recovery Disks, or find any Win7 retail installation DVD to clean reinstall Win7 from boot following these steps to get a perfect Reinstall: Reinstalling Windows 7

I did all the steps, with the recovery disc, and rebooted, but it's still not working. I held the 0 key while rebooting and it still took me to windows error recovery. It did also say it marked the recovery partition as active.

EDIT: I might just burn a W7 ISO to a CD and reinstall from there, I'm pretty sure it's ok if I use the key that's on my laptop? I've had enough of all this fixing
