FerchogtX only suggested you boot into the Vista DVD Repair console to access a Command Prompt to run the recovery commands he gave you. You hadn't said you'd done that specific thing, and you still don't. Please pay attention.

Make sure Win7 partiition is still set as first HD to boot in BIOS setup (after DVD drive) if you have more than one. If so, reboot and tap F8 to see if the Repair console is on
Advanced Boot Options

If that doesn't work you need a Win7 REpair CD or Installation DVD Repair console to run Startup Repair.
Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

What is the Win8 transformation pack? Is it a theme you ran within Win7 or another OS you're trying to DUal Boot with or overwrite Win7? If it's a theme you can try booting into the Win7 DVD Repair console or REpair CD to run System REstore if Startup Repair doesn't help.

You may need to boot Factory Recovery from its partition if you have one, run Recovery Disk you made or order, or find a Win7 installation DVD for

sorry for being rude to above poster (im panicking right now because i have all my work saved in my computer) :(

im not sure what win 8 transformation pack exactly is, but i downloaded an exe file from this Windows 8 Transformation Pack on Windows 7 [HD] 1080p - YouTube

i cannot do anything right now because i dont have the cd with me, but im getting this by tomorrow so all i can do is just sit here and wait..

the only thing that im concerned is that if my computer can load startup repair with the cd because it didnt work with vista CD.
but once again, il just have to wait.

il try the above method you gave me.
thanks for the help i appreciate it (_ _)

Hopefully Win7 is reparable by Startup Repair or System REstore from the DVD or REpair CD. DId you check to see if Repair console is on F8 menu?

We have other steps if the ones given so far don't help. You can also copy out your files using the Win7 DVD or REpair CD: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

do i have to insert the win7 CD in order to see the Repair menu? or can i just press F8 without the cd?

If WIndows is accessible it may offer the REpair console on F8 Advanced Boot Options

It is best to use the Repair CD or Installation DVD's Repair console, but you can try this until you get one.

haha, if i press f8 repeatedly, the screen goes black for second and it beeps (if i pressed F8 5 times then it will beep 8 times really fast lol),
and BOOM ' BOOTMGR image is corrupt. The system cannot boot.

 so F8 doesnt work, does that mean the CD will not work? or does it have a chance work..

sorry for bothering you :(

This is the 3rd thread I've read that had problems with anything Win8-theme related.

Great suggestion but isn't the F8 option also executed from the BCD/Bootmgr?

I'd just use a repair CD. There are legal download links everywhere if you just Google it, in case you don't have it, of course.

It's a Laptop.
If F8 is not accessible then you'll need the Repair CD or Win7 Installation DVD to run Repairs. Did you say you have a bootable USB flash stick Win7 installer? The Repair console is on second screen.

I'd first check for infection by downloading and burning to CD or writing to USB stick Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper then boot to run a full scan.

If it cleans up infection then in addition to running Startup Repair a few times, trying System Restore from the DVD/CD Recovery Tools list, I'd open a Command Prompt to run SFC -SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot

Report back results for each step. You can copy out your files using the DVD/Repair CD this way: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

FerchogtX 's method worked, Thanks for the help :D
