Chrome 15 has been released to the stable channel. The most noticeable difference is the revised new tab page.

Not too sound crude, but when someone starts releasing updates every day or week as they seem fit (i.e. Chrome and firefox)
I'm not really sure it warrants 'news' anymore when they spit out another one.
Aren't most people using plugins for tab management now anyhow?

I'm using Chromium 17.0.920.0 looks the same as Chrome 15 if there are differences I can't spot them.
the new tab page is rubbish you have no control over what sites go on them.
Chrome 7 or 17 theres not a lot of difference between them.

Not to hijack the thread but do you use LastPass?
I'm wondering because if I use a snap shot later than
16.0.900.0 LastPass login status flickers in and out.
The red square keep flickering yellow. If I back off to
16.0.900.0 or older it never happens. (I posted on
LastPass forum but since I'm using a snap shot they
just ignore it.)

But to Maguscreed's point, how are extension developers supposed to know if their stuff works anymore? One day it's FF 5 and 4 days later it's FF 8. Gets kind of silly.

To my mind thats the big problem with Firefox without extensions it's too basic they need to modernize the default by integrating several must have extensions into the default browser, it still leaves extension developers with problems but Users would have a much smoother upgrade experience.

I have to agree. In Chromium I'm only running 5 extensions(one I just added so I don't have to drag downloads to Free Download Manager target anymore) and one of those is disabled as I only need to run it manually(Bookmark Sentry.) FF you literally need AddOns to manage your other AddOns. :)
