Microsoft Edge version 109 will be the last version to support Windows 7 ESU and Windows 8

Microsoft will continue to support Microsoft Edge on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 until January 15, 2023.

OK, so I found the offline installer here:

But I'm wondering whether its meant for other editions of Win7 like Home Premium, etc.

(BTW, too bad MS never offered an offline installer for OneNote. That's the reason I have never touched it to this day. Bad business decision seems to me. I would have glossed over Edge too till this link...)

Being a hard core Firefox user for years I decided to give Edge a try and haven't opened FF since. Always had video issues in FF with MLB and a few other sites. So far smooth viewing and also opens sites faster. I was able to configure the favorites taskbar to my liking with a little work.

Thanks for heads up, but any (good) feedbacks running on Windows 7? I am a bit tired of IE11 lately

I am running Edge on a Core2Duo laptop that I purposely downclocked to 1.0GHz (from 2.0GHz) to prevent overheating. IE11 runs likes a snail on it. I cannot use it. Edge makes my laptop usable again! Very fast and zippy in loading web pages on a laptop that kind of chokes on Win7.

The offline Edge installer is very sneaky. I've documented it in this thread, where the offline installer/browser cannot be used/does not work on Windows 7 non-business machines that have been activated:
