Could either be an update installer problem or a problem with the download. Try re-downloading the tool

If you are having new BSOD's please upload the DMP files

Many posts ago you were to have run Driver verifier and update the old drivers. I havent seen the verifier results nor are the drivers updated. We need to eliminate those before we can go any further with these.

This most recent crash was probably caused by memory management but which driver we wont know till verifier catches it,

You cant re-install unless you get an image from somewhere but you should be able to restore it to factory settings. See your owners manual for directions.

Losing data, having to re-install all your apps, and perhaps not fixing the problem if it is hardware.

None of these were driver verified enabled but they are Related to idmwfp.sys Internet Download Manager WFP Driver from Tonec Inc.

I would remove it.

I would also remove this driver NTIDrvr.sys NTI CD-ROM Filter Driver from NewTech Infosystems

None of these crashes say "driver verified" there for no drivers were selected. You can test if verifier is on by typing verifier /query in CMD. If it returns no drivers being verified it isnt doing anything.

IDM may or may not work. I would remove all of these to see if the crashes stop then add one at a time back.

Could be your page file is either too small, or on a different HD, or UAC could be off, etc.

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.
