I made most of that icon I'll have you know. But this is how I made it, I only speak the truth z3r010. I got the icon you think I have stolen, and did some adjustments (e.g colour lighting etc.) But I've just noticed that the file I uploaded was not the one I edited :L Im sorry for the inconvenience z3r010, I truly am I seem to have named it the same name as the one I got of the internet (and edited) And accidently uploaded it, Im sorry all! D:

I'll upload the edited version as soon as I can z3r010, I promise.

If youre wondering about the weird name, its was initionally for my friend on PS3 (Sly55). Im truly sorry for the inconvenience. I named the folder off the internet the same name as this:

i have to confess i also found the scooby doo image on the internet and took out the white background and turned it into an icon for my son,
i hope i havent upset the original artist,
i wouldnt even know where to find it again to give the artist the credit.
i guess these kind of threads are open to abuse, but no malice was intended on my behalf.

Julian I suspect all of us use images from the web. The difference we don't specifically say we drew it. We use them along with our own compostions and original work and get something entirely new. I have made several icons from web images for my own use.
My current Snoopy avatar is from the web and I recolored, cropped, and enhanced it till I liked it, but nowhere will I say I drew it.

last thing you want is other artists claiming plagiarism and giving sevenforums a bad rep.

I use lots of other peoples work, I'm sure most GFXers won't draw everything themselves Most of us use patterns and textures which aren't ours but you've really got to draw the line when you try and pass it off as your own work.

Nice work, kado897. I wish you could/would metalize the Documents/User icon plus the Network icon and post them for download.
If I had those two it would complete a copper colored desktop icons set I've been trying to complete for months.
