Real nice scores. How overclocked was that CPU to get 7.7? I had mine at 4.8 and only got 7.6. Very good scores.

Hi guys i know i havn't been here in a while had a rough few weeks anyway wanted to show you after updating my Bios and some other drivers my WEI has went up a few points from the first time i built this machine check it out

Now the 7.4 was the Original score i first had now the 7.5 is where im at now and pretty much the CPU is what is holding me down now :sarc:

i have a 977GB Hitachi Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 ATA Device (SATA) and i dont defrag much :s my WEI score was overall 7.smthng..bt for the HDD data transfer rate its 5.9 :s will it increase if i defrag or smthng??

5.9 is the most you can expect with a mechanical hard drive. To get higher, you need to have an SSD.

i really thought i could get it to increase SSDs are expensive..
btw...wat abt a 10000rpm one? iv got 7200rpm one now..

I doubt a 10,000 RMP would help much, although I do seem to recall 2 Raptors in raid that got 6.1.

I doubt a 10,000 RPM would help much, although I do seem to recall 2 Raptors in raid that got 6.1.

That's the highest I've seen, 6.1....and I do remember it was a RAID setup. I don't recall which spinners it was, but it seems pretty likely that it would have been the Raptors.
