Hi, :geek:

I looked around the forums for a tutorial on how to set up a dual monitor but i didn't find exactly what i was looking for. I hear there's different ways to do this and depends on your video card?
I am really just looking for a way to have a total of 2 monitors...

If you don't see what you need over in my system specs and need any information about my PC, feel free to ask!

Thanks alot :D

Yes, if the card specifications are correct.

"Two independent display controllers. Drive two displays simultaneously with independent resolutions, refresh rates, color controls and video overlays for each display"

okay cool, i thought the same you did.

i think i should be able to plug it right in because its a DVI port, there is 2 and 1 is being used right now so yeah...right? i won't need any fancy cables or anything

If you have two monitors each with a DVI socket and a graphics card with two DVI ports then you need two DVI-DVI cables.

I was given to understand you already have the cables you need.

I don't know if your laptop can but mine will, you need to access the monitor control panel; software, and set it for dual, mine has a plug and play feature which recognized both monitor types, then allows you to set resolution for each display. Your system should cover this material under the help file or your manual.
