ive been having a blue screen pop up any time i play any game, it got to the point where i couldnt finish a match in bf3 before i got a blue screen about a week ago so i replaced my gpu since my old one was getting artifacts in every game when clocked to normal speeds. i thought that would fix the problem but it didnt and ive tested everything except the motherboard and i know its not a overheating problem since i recently replaced thermal paste and tested, my cpu doesnt go over 40C and my gpu doesnt go over 55C under stress.
i know its not the ram since ive tested it with memtest and booted with each stick individually with no blue screen. the only things i can think of that are left are a faulty motherboard, or a registry problem, but i ran a registry error program that fixed a lot of problems yesterday and im still getting blue screens today when trying to play skyrim.
sorry for the wall of text, and thanks for any help!
my system specs are
windows 7 64bit
amd athlon II X3 3.1ghz
gtx 560 ti
8gb(4x2gb) ddr3 ram
560W power supply
ask me anything if you need more information
