Hi!
My computer freezes randomly 1-5 times a day. The only event I could connect with freezing is a fast mouse movement but sometimes it freezes with no activity from my side at all. The computer is frozen and do not answer on Ctrl-Alt-Del n o mater how long I am waiting. The only way is to press on-off button and restart the system.
No BSOD at all.
Graphic card is new, changed by the ACER service.
I run Memtest86 - passed no errors. Memory 6GB.
I am occasionally running LINUX from CD or USB and the computer newer freezes in LINUX only in Windows 7. I am running different LINUX flavours mostly UBUNTU.
Talked several times with Acre support in UK (despite the fact that I am in Sweden) and reinstalled the system several times to the factory state.
Antivirus up to date, AVG Free 2011 and AdAware. No signs of infection.
I have run the system diagnosis tool from control panel and there are only 2 errors in test report:
I installed again PS/2 mouse/keyboard and uninstalled according to runes but the same errors are again in the report.
I am running mostly MS software on the computer except the e-mail program which is Mozilla Thunderbird in Windows XP SP2 mode.
All drivers are up to date. The audio driver, network card driver and video card driver are downloaded from the producers.
Is there any idea what to do?
Thanks and regards
