How to Delete all Partitions during Win7 Installation?

How to delete all HDD Partitions during the installation of Win7? I want to wipe out all of the existing partitions and make it 0 and then create new volumes with different sizes. I cant delete primary partition during installation. Or is there any other software i can use to delete all partitions of HDD and then start over again freshly?

I would suggest, after you have copied out or made back-ups of the data you need to save to external media, use Step One of this tutorial at the link below to do a wipe (secure erase) to the entire Hard Disk Drive, running this then using the outline in Step Two #2 to create and format a single 100GB partition using diskpart will get you the best possible space to clean install Windows 7 to.

im having few questions about deleting all partitions.
if i use a tool called " EaseUS Partition Master " to wipe all partitions and select ok. then what will happen
will my files will be lost?
will my system not boot?
will all the files be moved to a single partition?
please clear my confusion!!!

If you delete all partitions:

All data will be lost.

The system will not boot.

Your files will not be moved anywhere. They will be deleted and gone.

ohk suppose i deleted all the partitions using the tool i above mentioned.
after that i insert my windows disk ...in the installation window i will be shown only one partion ..i will install on that..and my system is working again! later on if i want to create any partitions, i can!

am i right?

If you delete all partitions, you can reinstall with your Windows disk and create one or more partitions---you are right.

But you don't need to use EaseUS Partition Master to delete partitions. You can delete partitions during the Windows installation using the Windows disk.

You need to back up your data.

You can create additional partitions during the installation or after the installation is complete using Windows Disk Management.

That's about right. During the installation, you will come to a screen that asks about partitions and where you want to install Windows. You can delete partitions at that point. Look for "advanced drive options" or something like that.

If you delete all partitions, your entire drive will be "unallocated space" and Windows will then make a partition of that unallocated space, format it, and install Windows.

Using Partition Wizard Bootable CD is a great way to delete and make all your partitions b4 you start your install. Download and burn to cd, then boot from the cd. Takes a little practice but it works flawlessly.

Do you mean the C: partition?

Yes. You can delete any partition you choose.

Or you can just choose to reinstall to the current C partition, without deleting any partitions. It's up to you.

see the uploaded pic.
there are exgaggeretad spaces ..i have tried but im not able to "add" those spaces to the existing partitions.
i dont remember how that happened. anyways i want to "start all over".
with a clean windows installation not factory reinstall o anything else.
so i should go with that option of deleting all partitions through windows setup ?? that would be fine right?

Yes, your HD is a mess. The 101mb partition was originally the System Reserved boot partition but it's somehow been derailed now to the third partition - probably because it was the one marked Active when you did a Repair or reinstall.

Are you clean reinstalling factory preinstalled OEM for the first time? Reinstalling Windows 7. If so you will also get better performance without the factory bloatware and useless factory utilities which have better versions built into Win7.

Otherwise we could help you clean up your partitioning using free Partition Wizard bootable CD which can do almost anything without fail.

Delete C: , the 6.87 GB partition and combine the unallocated 41.24 BG. Giving you an unallocated space of 69.95 GBs. Install Windows on this. I wouldn`t delete D: E: or F: until you get the hang of installing windows. Make sure you backup those partitions or get all the info you want off of them first.

i have done clean installation once and so there's nothing like factory or something anymore...im not even intersted.
i just want a new windows installed ovr a 500gb partition! nothing else.
so windows setup will be able to do that right?
