My desktop icons are mess up.......

Any one seen this before? When I started my computer this morning this is the way the desktop looked. It seems to affect only the drive icons and windows explorer icon. I deleted all of the bad ones and made new short cuts but they keep coming back the same way. Tried various desktop pictures too.
Any ideas?
Nothing else is affected and my system runs fine. It was perfect yesterday when I shut down.

By the looks of that it seems like the shortcut arrow is missing

follow this and see if it fixes

Remove shortcut arrows

Your welcome =) always like that tweak cos now you add anything to the esktop it wont have that arrow also it doesnt add "-shortcut" after it anymore
