How to get purchased antimalware to run in user account on startup

Hello again,
I purchased and installed Malwarebytes anti malware and after recently running into PC 2009 hits, I decided to run it resident. It does on my admin account, but I am unable to figure out how to get it to run under my user account. I have to, see SuperAntispyware thread, stop that and exit which leaves a process still running and then run Antimalware, type admin password and switch it to running resident each time I boot the computer. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is there an option to install it for all users? I'd uninstall it and reinstall it to see. Make sure you've backed up your license key.

I'd also install it under the User account which you regularly use.

Uninstall it removing all traces of it from C: program files 86. If you have CCleaner clean the registry. Then reinstall, turn on protection mode, enter your key to activate. Post back your results.

I was afraid that would be the answer. Will do. Dumb question, I initially installed it in the owner account, does it make a difference if I install it in the user accoung?

It should have asked during install if you want to install it for all users. Try looking for that first.

No I tried that and it won't, so I made a shortcut and put it in the Startup menu. No change! Thanks for your assistance and suggestions!

The best of my memory when I installed MAM PRO the question of all users was during the instillation of the program. I have looked in mine and cant find anything in the already installed program to change that.

It is a strange evening with this software. I uninstalled it with revo and did the CCleaner. I have tried 10 times to log onto the malwarebytes site and download the professional version and I can never connect???? Got a copy of free from CNet and installed it, it had a pro trial period which I let it do and then put in the license info. Don't know if this is correct. I checked auto-protect and make it available for all users.
It starts up as admin, the account I installed it in, but will not start up in my user account?? I am confused. Any other ideas! Thanks

By default the service is set as "Automatic (Delayed)"
I always set it to "Automatic", so it starts right away.
You may want to check on that.

I install it with "Run As Administrator".
Malwarebytes does recommend using their "MBAM-CLEAN.exe" tool to uninstall Malwarebytes.

Thanks for your response. Still is not working correctly and I can not connect to Malwarebytes.org or two computers. Very strange to me!! Appreciate any advice, help or opinions!

I just checked how I did this. Uninstall it completely, and then install it under your usual user Account - not the Administrator Account.

I am attempting to install it on one computer. It was previously installed and I turned on the auto-protect and that only worked in the Admin account. I am still trying to get it to auto run in the user account. It shows in CCleaner that it is in the startup but does not run. I have not been able to connect to Malwarebytes in two days. I managed to get on the forum but when I try to post it won't connect. !!??

BTW I have yet to be able to download the Pro version, can't connect.... and have tried using the new freeware which gives a trial PRO period. I allow the pro trial and then put in my license number.
