Alright - i had the same issue with this with my new build.

the way i got around it was to install my old mobo and gpu so i could boot up windows again

then download the latest drivers from the nvidia website onto there, after they installed i disconnected everything, put my gtx 560 ti back in and it worked straight away, so i would strongly surgest doing that

Is your vid card in the pci-e slot closest to the cpu and your dvi plugged in closest to the motherboard. That card has 2 dvi plugs, looking at the front of the comp the dvi on the left should be your primary plug for your monitor.

I'll take a look when I am at home, but the only video outputs I saw are on my GPUs

I had this happen before , the bios was reset then the video card would not work at all , the onboard video was enabled . Hooked up to the onboard video , entered the bios , unselected the onboard video , restarted .. connected to the external card , all working .....

Just question, did you purchase the new card because you thought the old one quit working?

Reason I ask is maybe it's not the card but the board.

I suggest you try them both in a different system to make sure.

Fabe
