how can i change the theme of windows explorer

ive been customizing my pc with rainmeter and other programs, so far ive done other things such as changing the mouse, and icons, now im wondering how can i change the boring white background of windows explorer to something different like this....

Control Panel\Personalization you can change the theme there.



Control Panel\Personalization there again click Windows color.



Try the above steps and post back with results\news.

well i already know how to change the window color but how do i change the background of windows explorer like the guy in the video

he installed a third party theme that changed the background once installed, bongo im sure can tell you how to change the background , but i can only direct you to a theme
mr grim makes really nice dark themes. find some here

i would go with jerrys link for now, as you need to sign up at virtual customs and have at least 10 approved posts before you can download a theme... but well worth it

Well the thing is ive pretty much customized my entire computer completely, mouse, icons, start button, more and with these themes they customize everything that i already did such as the icons. All i want is to be able to customize just windows explorer BG.

If you do not change system files your icons will be OK, post a link before you install any themes and I will tell you if it's OK.

If you are using the default aero theme I can change that windows explorer background for you, using Windows Style Builder and post it here in a zip folder. All I need is a color ( RBG would be great) and a name to call the custom theme.
If you are using a custom theme you will need to ask the theme maker. It's not cool to change someone else work.
