Solved Windows suddenly restarting with a blue screen

Hi,
I've been facing dis pblm since 1 week. I don kno wats happening with my system.Yesterday i was writing a DVD using Nero8 nwhile its was writing i played a video file from d contents f a folder which i was burning using nero.Suddenly a blue screen came for 1sec and my system restarted suddenly. Its working normally like logon screen d windows loaded normally as usual but d DVD i was writing became waste.Pls help me wit dis pblm.N sometimes some msgs appears like "Ur system is low in memory pls quit n restart all applications" ... Pls help me wit dis pblm.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

2day also same pblm occured in d mng.I was using my lap at arounf 10o'clock suddenly a blank screen came i pressed ctrl+shift+exsc for task manager n a blue screen appeared suddenly saying "an error occured a file win32k(something i don remember) has a pblm pls restart ur computer".I restarted n it worked f9.Pls tel me wat d pblm was n wat should i do??

This will allow us to give more accurate troubleshooting steps.

I tried changing but it showed some error.So i pressed cancel.I've uploaded d screenshot of the problem.Pls take a look at it.

I did exactly as told in BSOD - Posting Instructions and i have uploaded the zip file.Pls check and tel me what causes restarting of my lap with a blue screen.

No .dmp files included...

We need to sort out the pagefile issue. Start Menu -> Right click Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings link -> Performance click Settings... -> Advanced tab -> Under virtual memory, click Change... -> Upload a screenshot of those settings.

You do not have paging file enabled, so there will not be a .dmp created during a crash. Please select system manged size for C:, set, OK, and restart your computer.

Is this size k?? If i set lik dis den wil my system not show a blue screen and restart automatically??

It will still show the blue screen, but it should collect the .dmp files as well. Then it will restart if you have it set to restart when errors occur.

It will show that it is collecting the information at the bottom. A percent done number will display that will count up to 100. Once that finishes, that means the .dmp file has been saved and then the computer will either restart or stay on the blue screen depending on whether you have it setup to restart when errors occur.

Dumping Physical Memory to Disk: 95

That means it is 95% finished writing the .dmp file.
