BSOD when streaming video to 360 as extender

Hi all,

My laptop gets a BSOD like clockwork when I watch video on it's hard drive through my Xbox. I'm using TVersity to set up the sharing as when I used WMC the files weren't showing up on my Xbox.

I am aware this post is incomplete but on following the BSOD posting instructions I found when I typed perfmon / report into 'run' I'm told the parameter is incorrect. Could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here as I've got Performance Monitor open and have got that other folder ready to be zipped.

Is Windows 7 . . . - x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64bit - the original installed OS on the system? Yes - an OEM or full retail version? OEM - pre installed - OEM = came pre-installed on system - Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer - What is the age of system (hardware)? 3 years - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 3 years

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

* If you are overclocking STOP

* We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

* When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

As requested below is a zipped folder containing the contents of windows\minidump although the attachment option on this forum is telling me that a .nfo is an invalid file type for attachment. Is this correct?

I've just relayed the system information below as an alternative.

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

These crashes were related to NETw5s64.sys Wireless WiFi Link Driver from Intel Corporation I would re-install newest version available.

I would also update the driver related to DKbFltr.SYS Dritek HotKey Keyboard Filter Driver. YOURS FROM 2005
