BSOD on youtube, Display driver Crashing and recovering before BSOD

Apple Macbook Unibody late 2010 or early 2011 cant recall exactly
Nvidia GeForce 320M
2Gigs of ram
Retail windows 7 ultimate x32 fresh from a week ago , tho it happens on x64 also


here it goes, ive been thru this issue for years now, installing bootcamp drivers
then have a poor gaming experience and low fps etc, then updating the drivers through
nvidia, got great fps and everything is all good, then when i leave my computer at school
because they was going to be replaced by the newer macbooks, i get this one, a macbook unibody late 2010, graduated, and now when i want to play games, its the same deal, except that when updating the drivers on the 320M gives me a big fps boost until a random 10-60mins after BSOD, and instant BSOD after display driver recovery when going onto youtube. everything neccessary is attached

You can try updating your video card - NVIDIA DRIVERS 296.10 WHQL

Also, have you monitored the temps of your video card?

i have used those drivers and the issue occurs with them too, the reason i downgraded to the one i have now is because i have some decent uptime before a bsod, like 30-60 mins and with newest drivers its 10 mins at max, and with stock drivers i never get bsod but instead get poor performance, will do the rest now and post when done but whats the last deal in quote? i dont get it

furmark goes on 1080p test with 8x msaa on 94C steady, when fans start rolling it goes down to 74C vastly and no BSOD, with the current drivers i only get a BSOD on flash content

aha, but, what do i do now? im running an sfc atm and after that i will remove dx and install it again, do you have any more suggestions?

so, this is what ive done over the night, i dis/enabled tdr, disabled tdr makes the comp lockup, so its something with the graphics(according to the link that you posted wich have a link to nvidia forums), also i have tried with different browsers, and sp1 is installed and windows is fully up-to-date i think, only an optional update with drivers to nvidia nforce network controller, i tried with the 5 latest nvidia drivers, and i have also tried running furmark on all of them, i updated flash player since it was old, but none of these fix the problem, im out of ideas

disabling the flash hardware acceleration seems to fix the issue with youtube vids, but not the random 10-60 mins while gaming

Are you running off power supply or battery when the crashes happen?

Run memtest and cpu test to rule that out

Please run these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-hardware-stress-test-prime95.html

i have ran both of those over night already and everest for a couple of hours, but nothing happens, no errors no nothing, and now i dont seem to get BSOD, but instead i get sluggish video output, its only with nvidia drivers newer than 285 that gives me BSOD, is there something deviant from the 320m in macbooks in difference to 320m reference cards?

No idea. You can try contacting Nvidia support and see if they have any ideas

Will do that about the card differences tho i fixed the bsod by using some beta driver and removing sp1

301.24 beta driver seems to fix the problem. Here is the 64bit version link:

Or you can rollback to the old 285 drivers:

The 301.24 beta driver will break the brightness control. The screen will stay on the topest level of brightness without any means to change it.

I am trying the 285 drivers so far there is no problem.
