Accidentally Unallocated a 2nd HDD on laptop...help!

Do these operations at your own risk.

The red area defines the one partition on the HDD. The orange byte entry 42 defines the partition/disk as dynamic.

This needs to be changed to primary basic by replacing 42 with 07. This will not fix a broken file system!
To do the byte change 3 options
(1) with PW 4.22 select disk and see if you can select the option to change the disk from dynamic to basic.
(2) with PW see if it allows you to make the change
Select partition > Partition > Change partition type ID > select 0x07 NTFS
(3) Run a Hex Editor (right click run as Administrator. Select the second disk. Untick read only. Change the 42 to 07. Save and exit.

Your HDD should now show as primary basic. Does the partition still show as unformatted?

Good you sorted your problem out. The EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard free version restricts the data recovered to 1GB. Did you buy the prof version?
