Screenshots from your phone Home screen

What do you guys use to do the screen cap?

if it's an iphone then just press the home button and lock button at the same time to capture the screen, anybody help with different models?

Yeah, I'm on a Droid. HTC Inspire.

Then just use the Phone keypad option, there's a save as button right on that screen.

Nicely done. A search for 'Seven Forums' worked for me. Very fastand responsive. The only thing wrong with this is the spawn screen resolution on my iPhone 4 is incorrect. Might upload some screenshots.

Love to have one HTC or iPhone someday. But for now, carrying one, laptop, one old Blackberry, and one CDMA, and a bunch of chargers have already swollen my bag.

You need to Root your HTC WildFire to take a screenshot of the Home screen. But the latest version of Android (Ice cream Sandwich) has this feature without any rooting.

On my phone, I press and hold the Power and Home button together to get the screenshot. However, on the above post, the screenshot was taken just by holding the Power button and then clicking on the Screenshot option (as said by Shyam, its a native feature in ICS).
