Trying to Locate Encrytion Software with XXX Ext

OK, so did a dumb thing . Installed and was playing with file safety/encryption software that renamed my files names from document.doc to document.doc.xxx where the later version was encrypted.

But then, I guess, I uninstalled the software. Have googleed .xxx many different ways and can't find the program.

Anyone have any ideas?

Is "xxx" the specific extension or are you using it as the generic "x" factor?

If it is .axx it is Axcrypt. A good program in my opinion

I know that you used doc as an example - but so far, this is the only tool that I've found using that extension by default.

Thanks, looks like a cool program, but my original files were word docs, see above screen shot.
