When I look in the network sharing center, it says for wireless "Wireless network connection disabled 802.11n wireless LAN card"

The local area connection is enabled, I am using a netgear router and was really trying to figure a way to get the settings changed as I have never done that. So, how to I enable the wireless, I click enable, yet it still says disabled. I want to do this because all of my devices, my phone, pc, and tablet all connect through the router just fine and never lose connection, but the Kindle Fire ALWAYS loses connection. Every day I have to reset the router. Someone said maybe if it doesn't like the settings?it is currently WPA2 PSK. Is there another setting I can do, that the kindle, as well as all of my other devices may like so the kindle will not drop connection every day? If so, how would I change from WPA2 PSK to another setting??

Have you tried updating the wireless card driver?

you must have wireless radio turned off on the laptop. Look for a manual wireless switch that has an off/on position around the sides or front of the laptop. If nothing, then look around the Keyboard area for a button or a keyboard combination that turns wireless on/off.

If you posted specs /model I would be able to tell you.

HP Pavilion Elite HPE-510y not a laptop. It just says the wireless is disabled, but I am using wireless for my tab, phone, and kindle fire (which is what I am having issues with). When I click enable, nothing happens. The driver says it is up to date, but who knows. I just want to know if there is a better setting so that my kindle fire doesn't lose conection every couple hours. All other devices stay connected ALL THE TIME. It is very irritating

I have had a similar problem for a while now. I CAN get online, but the connections icon show a (!) as well as "no Internet Access" message for my WIRELESS network, nevertheless, ALL of my WiFi devices work. I saw a YouTube vid that showed me how to reset my IP address in order to get rid of the (!), but over a period of time that has failed. The Wan Miniport never seems to want to act right, among a HOST of other... annoyances with this comp. This bothers me because this comp is still a little too "new" to be plagued by these things. :-(
