I wanna play Chip's Challenge SOOOOOOOOO bad.
I tried running it on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit but here's what it says
"The version of this file is not compatible with the Windows your running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of this program, then contact the software publisher"

I need a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this.
I tried running this program, a virtual machine : https://www.virtualbox.org/
But didn't know how to use it.
I also need a step-by-step tutorial on how to use that too.

THANKS :D

I saw this and thought it was possible.
I'm not very good at understanding PC's so forgive if I'm being dumb but I'm pretty sure you can run it from a "Virtual Machine"

You may be able to run it in a vm from a 32bit host, but not from 64. Even then I think your best bet might be an emulator.

What type of emulator do I get?

No idea search google for an emulator that will run whatever system that game runs on/.

The simplest virtual machine may be DosBox:

DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS

I haven't used it, but it installs and starts up OK under Win7 X64.

And how do I use said Virtual Box sir?

I downloaded it and installed it, now what?

As I wrote, I've not used it.

I guess that you'd have the game in a directory on your hard drive. You mount that directory from within the DosBox environment. Then launch the game's executable. (Or does it require an installer?)

I see that it's supposed to be compatible:

DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS

but I find no details on installing or running it.

Sir,
I am not nearly as technical as you.
I understand very few computer terms, and have absolutely no idea how to run DosBox.

I think I kind of understand it.
Apparently I'm suppose to mount the the file "Chips" (That's where I have the game located)
And then run it.
I think.
I probably sound like I have no idea what I'm doing, which is true.

Alright I've mounted Chip's Challenge... now how do I run it? O.o
Now I'm able to see the contents of it through the folder... getting closer
