Solved When Win 8 is on within VMware,Win 7 is difficult to run

Yeah, you have to highlight the vm you want to adjust the settings of on the left, you are highlighted on home in your screen, move it down like mine, and you will get that option.

Won't let me give you rep points. Jim and Golden got mine, but not you.
You been a bad boy ?

Not that I know of, you must not have made the required amount rep to others needed to rep me again. No big deal, I appreciate the thought and try. :)

What do you mean ? I have not rep you for ages.
I am a little dense today ( just today ).

My rep power is 60. I just checked.

Hi there
1) you have to OPEN the VM with VMware player / VMware workstation. Don't Power on the VM just OPEN the VM.
2) now chose edit virtual machine settings
3) select memory and alter slider to 1GB (1024MB).
4) power on the VM.

You can't adjust any of the configuration settings from the W8 virtual machine itself. You have to do this from the W7 Host.

Job done

Cheers

That's all I can think of, it's not rep power you have to rep a certain number of people (I think it's 15) before you can rep that person again.

I haven't been here much in the last few months so it could be different now.
