hmm, it really shouldn't matter. All it does is scans the sectors on the disk and checks the read and write functions.

Take the HDD out and put it in your good PC, as a secondary, and run SeaTools inside windows and see what it says.

I've also just now realized, that my mouse isn't working in seatools. . . Because I didn't know I could use a mouse in DOS(stupid me). But I believe I need my mouse to access the log, which might hold to be a problem. In other news, My HDD failed the "acoustic test", meaning the weird noise has been confirmed to be coming from the HDD.

Would the HDD even be recoverable anyway if it is making a strange grinding noise?

If it failed the acoustic test, it's bad. RMA the drive.

Ok, this probably won't matter, but I managed to get a dump file, but it might be useless since I couldn't load it up on the problem pc before the bluescreen. but anyway, here it is . . .

Yeah, it verifies what you have said. You should move forward with the RMA of the HDD.
